A Must Try New Halal Spot in Town! My husband and I recently visited Chicago Pros Restaurant, a brand-new halal street food restaurant that just opened a few days ago and wow, we were so impressed! The food was absolutely amazing fresh, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The quality is top-notch, the prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are so generous they honestly surprised us (in the best way!). We left full, happy, and completely satisfied. As an artist, I especially appreciated the decor, it truly took the whole experience to another level. It’s artistic, unique, and full of energy. You could easily sit there all day just soaking in the design and the happy vibes. It perfectly captures that street food atmosphere but with a stylish twist. What really tied it all together was the outstanding customer service. The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. You can tell they put their heart into the food and into creating a memorable experience for their guests. If you’re looking for a new ZABIHA HALAL spot in the area with amazing burgers, tacos, philly cheese steak and a lively street food vibe, Chicago Pros Restaurant is definitely the place to go. Chi Pro is a great spot! They’ve got a big halal menu with everything from fried wings to burgers and tacos. Everything I tried was tasty and fresh. I really like the video display of their menu makes it easy to see what you’re getting. They even have an ice cream corner, which is a nice touch after your meal. Definitely worth checking out!
My family and I had a fantastic experience at Chicago Pros! The food was incredibly tasty, super fresh, and surprisingly affordable for the quality you get. My husband and I tried Chicago Pros for the first time this weekend since it opened. The atmosphere was great! Compared to what it was before the new owners, it’s a huge difference. I love the Chicago and Hispanic wall art that were on the walls and made it feel very comfortable. As for the food: I ordered the steak torta and let me say this was one of the best ones I’ve had. The bread, soft yet toasted. The steak was more asada style rather than typical breaded steak, but it was seasoned to perfection. They included everything that was standard to a torta without doing too much and it was so good, I’d get this again in a heartbeat!!! My husband ordered the fish and chips and he said it was probably one of the best he’s had. It was a good size order and included a seasoned breadstick. The fish itself was flaky and delicious and did not disappoint. The horchata was good, might be a bit overly sweet for my taste but good. The mojito was overly sweetened and tasted like a lot of the syrup used. We watered it down and that helped and it was great! Would recommend and definitely returning.
We tried the fajita platter, Steak Tacos, Smash Burger, fish and chips, wings and nachos. It’s hard to pick a favorite because everything was sooo delicious! Watermelon Mojito was a great conclusion to the amazing meal!!
I have to admit, my experience is just like a strawberry milkshake (which I ordered here): sweet, wonderful, beautiful, radiant, and magnificent. We ordered some food, where I personally ordered a Philly cheesesteak, and it was very delicious. The staff member say they cook it with a lot of love, and they certainly have proved that they do. This is a Halal restaurant, but when you go inside, it is so beautiful, so I recommend coming here!
I am glad we checked this restaurant out. It turned that we have a great halal option in our neighborhood. I ordered Philly and it was really good. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere too. Definitely recommended
October 31, 2025 (Halloween) - New business. Everything is a-la carte (no meal bundles) -- 4 stars for food because cannot give (.5) rating. Only gave a lower rating because my hot dog bun was stale. I understand that they have to be cautious about wasting food, as a new business or for any restaurant. That is why I gave an overall 5 Star rating. I hope that their being a new business is the only reason for the stale bun, and I will check in again. If it is a business practice of theirs to serve stale, old, reused, etc. food, such as when some fast food businesses and restaurants will reheat fries, serve stale bread in the table basket, etc., then I will lower my rating. The business is inviting. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The owners are welcoming and pleasant. Their decor is nostalgic. I enjoy the nostalgia and the colorful aesthetic of the interior. I sincerely wish this business well.
How was it that this place was not packed when we was there? I was surprised over how delicious the food was. The nachos basket was massive and extremely delicious. There was zero skimping on anything with the nachos ingredients whatsoever. I got the Philly with steak my wife got the Philly with chicken. Both were extremely delicious. I also got a vanilla milkshake. It was so creamy and smooth, i loved it. The tables had cool facts about burgers, tacos, Phillys, and other foods.....really cool to read while eating and great conversation starters. This is a place we will return to 100%.
